Dani Mitchell  – My name is Dani, and I am a dedicated trustee for the East Sussex Recovery Alliance. In my role, I work closely with individuals affected by substance misuse, offering guidance and support as they navigate the challenges of recovery. I am passionate about helping people regain control of their lives, particularly by providing advice on managing financial difficulties.

Having seen the impact financial instability can have on individuals in recovery, I focus on offering tailored solutions to help people manage their budgets, access resources, and build a sustainable financial foundation. My work is driven by compassion, understanding, and a deep commitment to empowering others to achieve independence and long-term recovery.

Through my role, I aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those I support, helping them overcome obstacles and rebuild their confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

Charlie Dix – I work for Lloyds Banking Group in their Transport division and I am responsible for Corporate relationships and project management as well as supporting the Lloyds Foundation works for Charities and Volunteering. I  joined the ESRA trustee board in September 2023 after undertaking work with ESRA on a best practice session. I live with my family, 2 horses and 1 cat in Essex.

We are looking for several new trustees to join our board. This includes individuals with lived experience, expertise in HR, and other relevant skills. We need people who can contribute to improving how ESRA is run and help shape its future. If you are keen to support recovery and make a positive difference, we would like to hear from you.
